Patriot League Announces PenFed Credit Union to Return as Presenting Sponsor of Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships


BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania – The Patriot League has announced that PenFed Credit Union, the nation’s second-largest federal credit union, will return as presenting sponsor of the 2021-22 Patriot League Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships.

In 2020-21, PenFed Credit Union became the first presenting sponsor of the Patriot League Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships in League history. The agreement also makes PenFed Credit Union the official credit union of the Patriot League.

As part of the agreement, PenFed Credit Union will have a significant presence throughout the Patriot League basketball season on television and as part of the League’s digital and social media platforms. PenFed Credit Union will also be present throughout the Spring League season, including the League Championships.

The 2021-22 PenFed Credit Union Patriot League Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships features the League’s 20 men’s and women’s basketball programs. Each game takes place at the home site of the top seed. The first round of the men’s championship begins on Tuesday March 1 and will continue on Thursday March 3 with the quarter-finals. The semi-finals will take place on Sunday March 6, followed by the men’s championship match on Wednesday March 9. The women’s championship will begin on Saturday March 5 and the quarter-finals on Monday March 7. The women’s semi-finals will take place on Thursday, March 9. 10, followed by the league game on Sunday March 13. Live coverage of the men’s semi-final and the men’s and women’s championship game will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network. All other games are available on ESPN+.
